Grande dia de surf na Austrália no passado dia 1 de Fevereiro. Na água, Steve Farthing, Darren Bason e Terry Petch - Random Team. As fotos são de Ming e o report é, como habitualmente, do nosso NEWS TEAM man da Austrália, Steve Farthing. Finally some decent swell has come our way, it all started on the 1st of Feb and is still powering through on the Gold and Sunshine Coast point breaks. I've been making the most of it surfing Snapper Rocks and Greenmount all last week and then up to Point Cartwright to catch up with Darren and Terry where we had an awesome session. This can be a pretty heavy wave with heaps of rocks and a breakwall to contend with if you get caught inside, we all had some great rides including a few barrels. That afternoon I took the renegade out to Moffat beach to get a feel for it in big waves. First wave I went for was an 8 foot set wave went for a huge air landed in the pit and had a 20min swim next time I'm wearing the quad belt. After that I took the Evo out for the best 2hrs I've ever had in a kayak. Looks like the swell is going to hang around for another week, cant wait to get back into it. Enjoy the pics
