Mais uma iniciativa de Darren Bason para a promoção do kayaksurf na longínqua Austrália. De tempos a tempos, Darren, Steve Farthing e Terry Petch - Random Kayaks - promovem fins de semana onde o objectivo é somente colocar mais gente na água. Levam o material necessário e, gratuitamente, todos eles ajudam às primeiras pagaiadas nas ondas. Boa onda com o apoio kayaksurf.net ;)

One more initiative coming from Ramdom Kayaks Team - Darren Bason, Steve Farthing and Terry Petch. Kawana Waters is situated between Currimundi Lake and the Mooloolah River on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland, Australia, an is within comfortable driving distance of Noosa and Brisbane. That's where Darren and friends surfed this last sunday. Darren surfs, among other supporters, with OPHION paddles. Great photos and delicious surf ;)

Darren Bason continues promoting kayaksurf and waveski in Australia with his Random brand. The new toy that comes from there is a new waveski custom. Grande dia de surf na Austrália no passado dia 1 de Fevereiro. Na água, Steve Farthing, Darren Bason e Terry Petch - Random Team. As fotos são de Ming e o report é, como habitualmente, do nosso NEWS TEAM man da Austrália, Steve Farthing. O report tem dezenas de grandes fotos e a selecção foi difícil... mas aqui estão as seleccionadas por Steve!

Finally some decent swell has come our way, it all started on the 1st of Feb and is still powering through on the Gold and Sunshine Coast point breaks. I've been making the most of it surfing Snapper Rocks and Greenmount all last week and then up to Point Cartwright to catch up with Darren and Terry where we had an awesome session. This can be a pretty heavy wave with heaps of rocks and a breakwall to contend with if you get caught inside, we all had some great rides including a few barrels. That afternoon I took the renegade out to Moffat beach to get a feel for it in big waves. First wave I went for was an 8 foot set wave went for a huge air landed in the pit and had a 20min swim next time I'm wearing the quad belt. After that I took the Evo out for the best 2hrs I've ever had in a kayak. Looks like the swell is going to hang around for another week, cant wait to get back into it. Enjoy the pics

We had our first action photo shoot of the Random Renegade long boat today. Small conditions at Fingal Beach (northern New South Wales) but the slick double concave bottom was generating enough speed for some nice tail flicks.

RANDOM LANÇA NOVO IC . RENEGADE

Depois do furor que o pimeiro surfkayak da Random - o Evolution - fez no Mundial, Darren Bason lança agora o primeiro IC (mais de 3 metros) da marca australiana - o Renegade. O campeão inglês radicado na Austrália está apostado em promover o kayaksurf e waveski por aquelas bandas e conta com a preciosa colaboração do Campeão Mundial Steve Farthing. Aqui ficam as primeiras fotos e, mais em baixo, o link para a Random. Em breve, mais notícias da Austrália graças à Prova da Taça do Mundo que conta com o apoio do kayaksurf.net.

After the release of the Evolution on the Worlds, Random Kayaks has now a his first IC -the Renegade. RANDOM KAYAKS - MÊS DE JANEIRO DEDICADO À FORMAÇÃO E PROMOÇÃO DO KAYAKSURF



Darren Bason começa 2010 com várias iniciativas que contam com o apoio do kayaksurf.net. Formações e cursos de iniciação ao kayaksurf que têm como objectivo consolidar a modalidade por terras australianas. A Random Kayaks está agora em testes com o novo IC Renegade e, em breve, teremos mais notícias sobre a nova máquina.

Darren Bason and Random Kayaks starts 2010 with new coaching programs in January and beginner courses to level 1 (coach courses). After, we'll have in Australia the first contest of the World 2010 Kayaksurf Cup. Random also have his new IC - Renegade - and soon, we'll have more news about it.
