O nossos amigos galegos continuam a treinar pela bonita costa NW de Espanha. José Piñeiro, NEWS TEAM kayaksurf.net, envia-nos o report de mais um dia divertido com nove amigos nas ondas: Jorge, Javi, Alex e José do Club Kayaksurf Galiza (CKSG) e também Andrés, José Miguel, José Carlos, Joaquín e Pablo. Our friends from Galiza continue to promote training sessions in the beautiful NW coast of Spain. I the water, 9 surfkayakers - some of the Galicia Surfkayak Club. The waves were not to big but the fun is always present! We can see by the photos that they equip with diferent brands: Mega, Watertech, RPF and KS. En Covas estaba plato, en Pantín había moi pouquiño e en Baleo había 1 m escaso pero moi ben feito, así que alí quedamos para facer o entreno do CKSG.

Xuntámonos uns cuantos .... ademáis de Jorge, Javi, Alex e Jose do CKSG, estiveron tamén Andrés, José Miguel, José Carlos, Joaquín e Pablo.O día foi perfecto, con moito sol, vento en calma e ondas de dereitas e de esquerdas, moitas moitas ondas, 3 horas pola mañán e 2 horas pola tarde, a días así hai que sacerlles proveito.

A Ophion continua a surpeender. Depois da estreia da Rapture, Sasa Rejec - dono e shaper da Ophion - aposta agora em três construções distintas para as suas pagaias. Na imagem podemos ver (de cima para baixo), os novos tubos em: carbono/kevlar, fibra de vidro/ kevlar e somente em fibra de vidro. Excelente aspecto!

Ophion paddles continues to surprise us with their new gear. This time, Sasa Rejec - Ophin's owner and shaper - sent ud these photos where we can see the brand new shafts.On the top: carbon/kevlar shaft, in the middle: glass/kevlar shaft; on the end: glass shaft. Great look!!

A company called 'Big Rush Urban Adrenalin' has set up a giant rope swing from the arch stretching over 100m above the stadium. As some kind of tester, we decided to give it a go in a kayak. Why? A SHARK IN THE CENTRAL WEST COAST OF PORTUGAL

UM TUBARÃO PELAS ÁGUAS DA FIGUEIRA DA FOZ



"Acabei de fotografar um tubarão!" - foi assim que o João Paulo - elemento da nossa NEWS TEAM - me disse ao telefone por volta da uma da tarde... claro que não acreditámos! Mas quando o JP nos relata todos os pormenores do sucedido... afinal era verdade! As fotos são de hoje, às 13horas na localizção 40º10'38.91N 8º54'23.92W, em frente à Fábrica da Cimpor,Figueira da Foz. Esqueçam o estigma associado a estes animais e apreciem o bicho... segundo o JP, não andaria muito longe dos 3 metros ;)

"I just shoot one shark right now!" - that's how João Paulo - NEWS TEAM kayaksurf.net - told me today at 1pm. Of course that I didn't believe it. But then he told us all the story... that was true. These photos were took by him today near by Figueira da Foz, center west coast of Portugal - 40º10'38.91N 8º54'23.92W. That's a fantastic animal playing in the waves. After the great success of Santas Olas 2010 Festival, Argentina has one more event to promote wave sports. It's the first Meeting of Beach Sports in Mar de Plata. 1er Encuentro de Deportes de Playa

Se realizara los dias 24 y 25 de Abril en la ciudad de Mar del Plata.
Playa Estrada desde 8.30 hs

El objetivo es integrar las diversas comunidades del surfing local, promover las buenas practicas y tendra actividades de arena ecologicas y recreativas. El kayak contara con competencia open para SOT dobles los mas divertidos y categoria que crece en argentina y habra una demostracion de kayaksurf HP con los mejores exponentes locales. El cierre del evento promete un surfing donde no podras dejar pasar la posibilidad de disfrazarte si queres tener premios.

No lo duden es una oportunidad unica. Como siempre contamos con el apoyo de las empresas para realizar este evento:

Atlantikayak´s - Nautica Laffont - Patagoniankayak - bio-bio - Bad machine - indico - recife - casinuevo - y muchas mas.
