KAYAKSURF no FAMA SHOW da SIC este domingo!

Rita Andrade e Laura Figueiredo aventuraram-se com o kayaksurf.net nas ondas da Foz do Arelho ;) Tudo para a emissão deste domingo, dia 4 de Setembro, na SIC após o Jornal da Uma. Great exposure for kayaksurf on the portuguese national TV channel SIC. This sunday, will broadcast a show where kayaksurf.net was invited to explain and promote kayaksurf. WATERTECH rules in Mundaka 2011 by Rui Calado

Watertech em grande no pódio de Mundaka 2011



A Watertech fez-se representar em Mundaka com vários kayaksurfistas da W-Team. Entre portugueses e bascos, os surfkayaks ONA e 666 subiram ao pódio várias vezes. Fica o resumo enviado por Rui Calado, NEWS TEAM kayaksurf.net e um dos homens da W. Parabéns!

Watertech was present in Mundaka 2011 with several riders from the W-Team. Between portuguese and basques surfkayakers, two surfkayaks from Watertech were many times in the podium. Check the report from Rui Calado. Congratulations!

A BIG thanks to all the boys and girls in Competition with our kayaks this last week end in Mundaka. The 666 ruled on the IC class with a 1 th and a 2 th place :-)

As novas propostas da Watertech para a construção dos seus surfkayaks continuam a surpeender meio mundo. A investigação e desenvolvimento da NELO continuam a dar excelentes frutos com esta parceria. Fica a descrição por Rui Calado acerca da inovadora técnica da W para os kayaks.

E Generation by Watertech

After some advances on the construction side - probably the first composite-seamless-made-in-one-piece kayaks in the world - we are going to make it again... This time we are betting on the E-Power...

"E" stands for Epoxy resin.

Some people know already what is the difference between this kind of resin and Polyester or Vinylester. Epoxy is much stiffer, resistant and have more gluing properties.

This means stronger kayaks, harder, more impact resistant and lighter...
So we changed all our tech levels except the top one.

Now we have:

- Basic E level, with Monolithic (without any sandwich) fibre glass deck, fibre glass with PVC sandwich hull. Seamless, made in one piece tech, all made in vacuum with epoxy resin.

- ShockTech E level, with Monolithic carbon deck, carbon with PVC sandwich hull. Seamless, made in one piece tech, all made in vacuum with epoxy resin.

- Airtech E level, with carbon with PVC sandwich deck and hull. Seamless, made in one piece tech, all made in vacuum with epoxy resin.

Besides this we decided to go for a foam seat in all the models replacing the regular composite one. This was proved to be lighter, more comfortable, easier to customize and trouble free.

Soon we will have a belt as a option :-)

Já sabíamos que o waveski Blast da RPF equipa com Solamanzi mas este que apresentamos hoje... supreende com mais uma parceria - OPHION Paddles. A marca eslovena de pagaias representada em Portugal pela RPF, "emprestou" a sua imagem para a base deste wave. O felizardo deste modelo é João Vaz (Figueira Kayak Clube). We already knew that the RPF waveski Blast, is powered by SOLAMANZI but this one... is special. Besides SOLAMANZI, OPHION padddles also "equip" this model.
