Mundial de Kayaksurf 2011 / EUA / André passou para a próxima ronda!!

Bom, aí está a confirmação "oficial". Num heat altamente internacional, o único atleta português no Mundial de Kayaksurf passou para a próxima ronda de baterias (Kayaksurf Men HP). O heat foi ganho pelo argentino Jorge Anchorena e, para muita pena nossa, ficou Stefano Bellotti pelo caminho (resta-lhe o IC). Amanhã, o André não vai ter a vida fácil... Glyn, Xabi ou Liam... são todos TOP! Boa sorte!!!

The unique portuguese athlete in the Worlds Surfkayaking 2011 is André Pinto and he passed for next round! Cool ;) Our very good friend Stefano Bellotti was out in this heat... let's see in the IC Class. Now, André will meet in the same heat names as Glyn, Xabi and Liam... hard work! Good luck and let's wait for the News!

CNKW11 / ULHT Team present in the portuguese circuit

ULHT no Ocean Spirit / CNKW11



Como todos sabemos, realiza-se nos próximos dias 6 e 7 de Agosto a 2ª Etapa do Circuito Nacional de Kayaksurf e Waveski, inserido no evento de desportos de ondas Ocean Spirit. A ULHT vai estar presente com o Team de Actividades de Aventura para participar nas provas de Kayaksurf, Sit-on-top e Waveski. O Team da Universidade Lusófona vai equipar na classe HP com o Flash RPF, no waveski com o Easy da Watertech e nos SOT, com o Shark da RPF. Boa sorte a todos e obrigado pela vossa presença ;)

The students team from Lusófona Universitiy (Portugal) will be next weekend in Ocean Spirit Festival to participate in the Kayaksurf & Waveski National Circuit. They are already a regular presence in these events and always a very good vibe. Let's wait for next weekend ;)

Atlantic Watersports Games 2011 / First photos

Primeiras fotos dos Atlantic Watersports Games 2011 / Portugal presente!



Os XVII Jogos Náuticos Atlânticos vão realizar-se, entre 24 e 28 de Julho, em Bideford (North Devon), Inglaterra. Este evento, organizado pelo Comité Internacional dos Jogos Náuticos Intercélticos, conta nesta sua edição com a co-organização da Direcção Geral dos Assuntos Europeus North Devon + e com o apoio da Comissão do Arco Atlântico. A Região Norte de Portugal vai competir nas modalidades de vela, remo, surf e kitesurf, com o objectivo de lutar pelos lugares cimeiros.

Os Jogos Náuticos Atlânticos (JNA) são uma competição anual que, pela sua importância, tem vindo a afirmar-se naturalmente no panorama internacional da náutica. Durante uma semana, este evento coloca em competição as melhores selecções náuticas das várias regiões que compõem o Arco Atlântico, nas modalidades de kayaksurf , kitesurf, remo, surf, surf life saving e vela. After the beautiful opening ceremony, which took place in Bideford late on Sunday afternoon, the young sportsmen and women began fighting it out in the various competitions this Monday morning. An overview of the sporting events on the programme is as follows:

•Bideford: Olympic rowing in double juniors and cadets, quadruple sculls, juniors and cadets
•Roadford Lake: Sailing (Optimist, Laser and Windsurfing)
•Saunton: Surf lifesaving and Ocean Kayaking
•Westward Ho!: Kitesurfing
•Croyde: Surfing and Surf kayaking

The competitors have expressed their satisfaction with the quality of the competitions and with the great welcome shown by the British hosts.

Passatempo RPF Kayaks na Penthouse deste mês


A revista Penthouse deste mês publicou um artigo dedicado ao kayaksurf que se estende por seis páginas (cool!!) e, na página 29, está o passatempo RPF Kayaks. Basta responder ao que é solicitado e pode aventurar-se a um fato de surf da marca ONDA no valor de 178 euros. Está nas bancas!!

Penthouse magazine (Portugal edition), published a great article about kayaksurf (six pages!!) and, on page 29, there is a pastime about RPF Kayaks brand. It's a simple question and, the best answer, will be awarded with a surf wetsuit (almost 180 euros). If yu have the chance, the magazine is on newsstands... but only in Portugal!

A nova aventura de Nuno Pereira, NEWS TEAM kayaksurf.net




Nuno Pereira pertence à nossa NEWS TEAM e, para além do kayaksurf, é um afincado praticante nos kayaks de mar. Foi ele que, juntamente com Rui Calado, fez a travessia da nossa costa em kayak de mar (Julho de 2010). Foram 900 km em autonomia com muitas peripécias pelo meio. Agora, o projecto é ainda mais desafiante... volta à Península Ibérica com início previsto para 12 de Maio de 2012 e calculada com uma duração de 107 dias (3459 km divididos em 87 etapas).

Em baixo, mas algumas informações sobre o projecto e o link para o blog da expedição. O projecto está em fase de angariação de fundos, apoios, patrocínios... tudo! Boa sorte Nuno!!

Nuno Pereira belongs to our NEWS TEAM and, after making the sea crossing around Portugal with Rui Calado last year (900 km in one month), he is now involved in a new project. Sea kayaking again but, this time, around Iberian Peninsula. The project will start (probably) in 12th May 2012. Will be 3459 km divided in 87 steps. Portuguese Canoe Federation aproves Kayaksurf, Waveski and SOT rules

A Federação Portuguesa de Canoagem já apresenta na sua página oficial o novo regulamento aprovado que irá reger o Circuito Nacional de Kayaksurf e Waveski. Boas notícias! Pode clicar mais em baixo e consultar todas as regras ;)

The Portuguese Canoe Federation just approved the regulation that will guide the kayaksurf & waveski circuit. In Portugal, like in many other countries, kayaksurf, waveski and sit-on-top are all disciplines included in the Canoe Federation. Next weekend, it will run the first event of this year in Foz do Arelho beach. You can see HERE the official website of the event. Wait for the news ;)

SESSION 2011 / 11 de Junho na Figueira da Foz... estamos lá!

Fica só o teaser a abrir o apetite para a quinta edição da Kayaksurf Session, a maior concentração nacional da comunidade das pagaias salgadas. Kayaksurf, waveski, sit-on-top, banheiras, caixas de fruta e afins, são igualmente bem vindos ;) O mote, é sempre o mesmo: reunir amigos, desfrutar das ondas e jantar ainda melhor. E ainda por cima há prémios! Em breve, o cartaz definitivo e todo o programa de festas. Para já, ficam os organizadores: kayaksurf.net, Figueira Kayak Clube e CM da Figueira da Foz.

It's just a teaser to promote the biggest paddle surf meeting in Portugal. It will be the 5th edition and, like always, we'll have surfkayaks, waveski, sot's and anything else that surfs ;) Keep an eye on the news and soon, the main poster will be published with all the program.
