Depois das excelentes ondas surfadas por Jonny Bingham que publicámos há duas semanas, mais um vídeo onde brilha igualmente o novo surfkayk da Mega - Boost. Colocado no mercado há um mês, a nova máquina já vendeu quase duas dezenas e veio para ficar!

Two weeks ago, we published incredible photos and videos with Jonny Bingham ripping in the new BOOST. Now, one more video where the new Mega surfmachine shines. After the release of this new modelo, the success was immediate. Enjoy one more video with Aidan Brackenbury and the new Boost.

TROFEO NADAL KAYAKSURF / 36 incritos e a participação da Watertech Team!



"O evento cresceu como uma bola de neve" - de acordo com as palavras de Jose Piñeiro. O que é certo que a prova Trofeo Nadal de Kayaksurf (Trofeu Natal de Kayaksurf) já conta com... 36 inscritos! Há muito tempo que não nos recordamos de ver uma prova de kayaksurf com tanta adesão. As incrições foram até ontem e agora, toca a torcer para o mar esteja com um bom swell. A prova contará com a participação de Rui Calado, Pedro Castro e Miguel Carvalho - W Team em representação nacional! Boa sorte para todos!!

Aproveitamos o evento para divugar mais uma parceria kayaksurf.net. Desta vez, é mais um site da ala surfista - www.100surf.pt. Alexandre Capela e a nossa equipa de 12 jornalistas, 4 editores de imagem e 32 repórteres (heheheh) estabeleceram a parceria. A partir de Janeiro teremos mais novidades. STEVE FARTHING RIPS AGAIN IN AUSTRALIA

STEVE FARTHING / KAYAKSURF DE LUXO NA AUSTRÁLIA



Steve Farthing, campeão mundial de kayaksurf classe Masters HP, está de novo a surfar! Isto porque o craque australiano esteve 10 semanas sem ir à água devido a uma lesão no ombro. Já entrevistámos Steve dos dois mundiais de 2009 em que participou - kayaksurf e waveski. Em breve, teremos nova entrevista. Por agora, vamos às excelentes fotos de Ming onde se vê que Steve está de volta e em grande!

10 weeks post shoulder dislocation, Steve Farthing is finally surfing again! As we can see by these photos, who would say that Steve was without waves during almost three months? Great shots by Ming and the prove that the former World HP Masters Champion is back again! Congratulations Steve!

AINHOA TOLOSA JUNTA-SE À W-TEAM

A basca Campeã Mundial de Kayaksurf, classe IC, junta-se ao W-Team. Ainhoa Tolosa Inda - recentemente entrevistada por nós - surfa agora um IC 666 da Watertech e ainda na há duas semanas conquistou o primeiro lugar na prova de Zarautz com a nova máquina. Another great news, Ainhoa Tolosa, the Women IC World Champion is now part of our Dream-W-Team :)
She had already her title paddling a Watertech 666 and now she is "officially" part of our team, riding a 666 and helping us to develop the surfkayak sport and our surf machines.

UMA MANHÃ DE ONDAS NA TAMARGUEIRA / FIGUEIRA DA FOZ

Semana fria, mar desordenado mas alguns resistentes continuam a ir à água. Imagens da Tamargueira, Buarcos, Figueira da Foz, captadas por João Vaz do kayaksurfigueira.com. Na água, Paulo Simões, Gonçalo, Hugo Nascimento, Eurico Viana, um suiço a experimentar o kayaksurf (!!) e até o Filipe Fonseca com a longboard a surfar qual waveski... sem pagaia. In spite of the lousy weather and bad waves, some resistants continue to surf in Figueira da Foz. These photos are only a few from a big album that is online on kayaksurfigueira.com. Enjoy the pics and see that, even with so bad conditions, some times the set comes almost good!

Spencer Cooke já nos habituou a grandes reports. Fotógrafo, produtor de vídeo, designer - já colaborou com a Mega e Riot - é um dos grandes nomes do kayaksurf mundial. Costa Rica 2009

Hi everyone,

Ray Cotton, Drew Hayes and I (Joey and Nathan were not invited) took a short surf trip to Costa Rica last month and I did a little journal with photos on my website. There is also some video footage that I haven't gotten around to editing.

Also, Joey and I still have loads and loads of footage from the Portugal worlds that we also haven't had a chance to edit. I promised Pete B and Gary Adcock that I'd put Gary's huge aerial from worlds up online sometime, and I will. I got a really nice shot of that, plus lots of others. Apparently all Gary's friends back home don't believe he did that. Getting around to it sooner or later and will post a note here when it's available to view.
