O evento decorre num dos picos mais afamados da costa Californiana - Pico Creek. Será no próximo fim de semana de 24 e 25 de Abril e John Bonaventure, um dos clássicos do kayaksurf norte-americano, envia-nos o convite. Aqui fica ;)

It will run in on the most famous surf spots of USA west coast - Pico Creek. After Santa Cruz, another invitation to visit California. John Bonaventure sent us all the info about the event. Mark on your calendar ;)

Pico Creek Contest is on for April 24-25th weekend!



Pico Creek, located in the tiny burge of San Simeon, is an amazing wonderland of surf breaks. They can be big and heavy, or small and clean, or somewhat in between. Site of two of the USW Team Trials, it's a challenging fun break. Its also a great weekend visitor spot with: Elephant Seals, Wine Tasting, Hearst Castle, arts crafts shops and beautiful scenery. The cost is: $60 for the first category, $40 for the 2nd, $30 for the 3rd, $20 for the 4th (if anyone is that crazy)

Also -- This event is a USWSKA scanctioned event, meaning points earned will count towards getting a place on the 2011 Worlds team! 2011 Worlds are going to be held in the fall, in North Carolina at a world famous break. Expect competition for team slots to be tough!
