Realizou-se este ano em Santa Cruz, Califórnia, a 23ª edição do mais antigo festival de kayaksurf do mundo. Publicámos uma série de notícias sobre o evento e Dennis Judson (que virá este ano em Mundial) esteve uma vez mais de parabéns pela iniciativa. Recordamos as classes que estiveram a competir:

Para além dos clássicos HP e IC lá estavam os waves, os "plásticos" playboats, os sit-on-top e até paddle-surf. Isto, no mais antigo e experiente festival de kayaksurf do mundo. Este ano, Dennis estendeu a lista de participantes ao paddle-surf com o objectivo de alargar - ainda mais - os horizontes do festival. Vem isto a propósito de um outro festival - Santa Olas Festival - que decorreu de 8 a 11 de Abril na Praia del Morro em Santa Clara, Argentina. Classes: HP e SOT. Porque sabemos que há muitos adeptos destes kayaks, aqui ficam algumas imagens!

What do you think about the SOT class? These pics are from Santas Olas Festival. It occurred during 8 til 11 of April 2009 and kayaksurf.net was media partner. There were two classes: HP and SOT. In Portugal, the national circuit is only with surfkayaks and waveskis but, when we look to the classes of Santa Cruz Festival, we conclude that there are so many ways to surf... paddling.
