MUNDIAL DE WAVESKI 2011 EM PORTUGAL / CONFIRMADO!

É oficial. Após semanas de contactos com a WWSA (Associação Mundial de Waveski), estamos na posição de confirmar que o Festival Ocean Spirit de 2011 irá receber o Mundial de Waveski. Jackie Dillon, presidente da WWSA, estabeleceu todos os contactos com a equipa portuguesa responsável por esta candidatura: Bruno Melo, Francisco Saraiva e Luís Pedro Abreu. Jackie confidenciou-nos que a África do Sul e Austrália defendiam a realização do evento no nosso país. A partir de agora, por inerência, ficaremos também com um lugar na estrutura orgânica do Comité da WWSA. Portugal recebe assim mais um evento mundial e o Festival Ocean Spirit está, uma vez mais, de parabéns!!

It's oficial - Portugal will host the World Waveski Surfing Association Titles in 2011. The Ocean Spirit Festival is, one more, our host for a great event. Below, the copy of Jackie's mail!

NEWS from WWSA:

Good afternoon all National Delegates ,

On behalf of the World Waveski Surfing Association I officially write to advise that Portugal has been successful in its bid to host the 2011 World Waveski Surfing Association Titles. We will advise more information about the event as it comes to hand.

Consistent with the WWSA Constitution Mr Luis Pedro Abreu who is the national delegate from Portugal has been invited to occupy one of the Vice President positions on the WWSA Committee. We welcome Luis aboard.
