Nathan Eades será a próxima entrevista do kayaksurf.net. O "yellowboy" andou por terras da América do Sul entre o Equador e o Peru. Em Huanchaco, conheceu Javier Perez, um entusiasta do waveski que, à falta de fabricantes e modelos disponíveis no Perú, fez ele mesmo o seu! Mas vamos ao report de Nathan:

REPORT IN PERU by NATHAN EADES - "Whem I meet Javier Perez"

On the last few days in Peru, I bumped into one of the most enthusiastic wave skiers I've ever met. It was in Huanchaco where I met this local wave ski rider: Javier Perez. He made me and Naomi very welcome on his local break 8 hours north of Lima, and about an hour south of Chicama. With no ski manufacturers in Peru, Javier has been hand shaping wave ski's from whatever bits of foam he can find and modelling them from images he has seen on the internet. He invited us both to his home in Huanchaco and showed us pics of his earlier models and his latest creation that he was working on. These images are of that wave ski now finished- he made it from combining foam blocks with an old windsurfer board then laminating over the top! This guy is an inspiration to us all!
