Shota Onishi ainda há bem pouco tempo esteve em Portugal aquando do Mundial de Kayaksurf mas foi há uns anos no País Basco que pela primeira vez nos falou sobre o kayaksurf no Japão. Hoje, é mais um elemento da nossa NEWS TEAM e, como habitualmente, cá está mais uma edição do campeonato de kayaksurf e freestyle nas ondas. We met Shota Onishi a few years ago in Basque Country and, since there, he belongs to our News Team. Like usually, here it is one more edition of the Freestyle Champs in Chiba Beach. Full report with all the results of one of the most distant contests we proudly support. Congratulations guys!

SURF REPORT by SHOTA ONISHI

The day before the event,swells were too small and weak. But in the morning of the event,swells came up.
It was beautiful day with sunshine.It was excellent condition to compete. National top paddlers of free-style and surfkayak competed. Koyo Morita,former world champion of squirt boating made some big moves. Number of surf kayak competitors is rising. Still long way to go,but skill of Japanese surfkayakers is improving.
