Bruno Melo faz-se à onda com António Palavra de fundo

O BANDIT continua a vingar nos lugares cimeiros e, desta vez, não foi preciso ir até ao País Basco - onde Bruno Melo estreou com uma vitória o novo modelo - para vermos a nova máquina da W de novo no pódium. Rui Calado enviou-nos o report da Prova da Barra que decorreu no passado fim de semana em Aveiro e que abriu o Circuito Nacional de Kayaksurf e Waveski deste ano.

Rui Calado, from Watertech, sent us the report from this last weekend comp held in Aveiro, Portugal. It was the 1st contest of our National Circuit and the brand new surfkayak BANDIT won again. Check the report!

This is the second time he does it and it is still very young… Bruno Melo riding his own design was the winner on the first event of the Portuguese Surfkayak & Waveski circuit last week in Barra beach. On second and third was 2 Watertech Lucifers, with André Pinto and António Palavra. On the Waveskis, the W brand was 2th with Filipe Brás…

Nice waves, excellent weather, good ambiance on the beach, tasteful dinner and a huge beach party at night made this a almost perfect weekend…

Ainda é tão novo e já é a segunda vez que o bandido rouba umprimeiro lugar nos podiums…

Bruno Melo, aos comandos do kayak desenhado por si, venceu a primeira prova do circuito Nacional de Kayaksurf & Waveski na praia da Barra, na categoria kayak, claro. No Segundo lugar ficou André Pinto com o seu Lucifer e em terceiro António Palavra também com um diabrete. Nos Waveskis, Filipe Brás levou o seu W-Waveski ao Segundo lugar.

Ondas fixes, tempo excelente, muito bom ambiente na praia, um jantar muito saboroso e uma festa potente na praia à noite fizeram deste fim de semana um verdadeiro luxo…
