Grande ondas com Andy e Dessie a surfarem na Irlanda do Norte e Bruno Guazzelli Filho no Brasil ;)



Dá gosto ver o jovem Andy a surfar! É a nova geração do kayaksurf a dar cartas - com waveskis e surfkayaks. Estas ondas foram gravadas na passada semana. Dessie McGlinchey - NEWS TEAM kayaksurf.net - outro norte irlandês com um grande surf, anda a testar a sua câmara GoPro e o resultado está mais en baixo. Do outro lado do Atlântico, Bruno Guazzelli Filho - NEWS TEAM kayaksurf.net - numa sessão de freesurf entre amigos - surf, stand up, bodyboard e kayaksurf. Onde? Praia da Juréia do Norte - São Paulo em finais do mês passado. Na água, para além de Bruno, temos também Bianca Guazzelli, Glauco Valentin, Chris Kagueyama e Gustavo Marine. O vídeo conta com imagem e edição de Marcelo Bomfim. Boa onda ;)

It's always a pleasure to see Andy surfing! It's the NEW kayaksurf generation in it's best showing that these young riders are really good. Check out this video with Andy McLelland - Nortern Ireland Squad. Also from Northern Ireland, Dessie McGlinchey - NEWS TEAM kayaksurf.net - sent us his "testing" video with the GoPro camera. From the other side of the Atlantic, we can see Bruno Guazzelli Filho - NEWS TEAM kayaksurf.net - together with friends in a free surf session in the end of last June - surf, SUP, bodyboard and kayaksurf. All in Juréia Beach (S.Paulo). Great surf!!

2010 CANI Surf / Surfkayaks.com League Competition 2 / Report de Dessie McGlinchey e Gerry Mc Gahey

Decorreu no passado dia 10 de Abril e reuniu nomes bem conhecidos e habituais no kayaksurf.net... não estivéssemos nós a falar de uma das melhores escolas do mundo do kayaksurf. De facto, a Irlanda do Norte continua a criar grandes kayaksurfistas e a promover a modalidade de uma forma exemplar. Fica o report de mais um evento!

It run last weekend and there were well known names of the international kayaksurf scene... we all know that Northern Ireland is one of the best worldwide kayaksurf schools and this event, is one more step in their great work. Dessie and Gerry sent us all the info. Enjoy it ;)

Surf Report

Half nine meeting on Saturday 10th April at Tullan strand car park in Bundoran, Co Donegal saw the start of the first Northern Ireland Surf Kayak league competition. Conditions were on the surfer’s side with beautiful sunny weather, clean head high waves and a light offshore breeze. Some great surfing was on show from all competitors throughout the day with tight results in all classes.

Well done to all competitors and thank you to North South Marine & Leisure who kindly sponsored all categories.

Jonny Bingham e Andy McCLelland - o tal júnior com apenas 15 anos - a surfarem grandes ondas na Irlanda do Norte. Jonny equipa com o novíssimo Mega Boost e Andy continua com o seu Neutron RV (amarelo), também da Mega. Já há umas semanas tínhamos visto um interessante "duelo" entre os dois craques. Não esqueçamos que Andy foi segundo na classe IC no Mundial de Kayaksurf 2009 e Jonny foi campeão do mundo na classe HP em 2007. Reparem no talento que une estas duas gerações...

Jonny and Andy were in an amazing video a few weeks ago that we published. Now, they "fight" again North Coast. According to them, the video doesn't do it justice but the wind was 30-40mph and gusting 60mph! Great rides with the brand new Mega Boost (jonny) versus Neutron RV from Andy (yellow). Há uns meses, Dessie McGlinchey enviou-nos umas fotos fantásticas com um surfkayak amarelo a voar literalmente. Chris Hobson? Jonny? Dessie? Corin? Não. Era um júnior com apenas... 14 anos na altura. Mais tarde, veio ao Mundial em Portugal e, confirma-se... estamos na presença de mais um craque formado na grande escola norte-irlandesa de kayaksurf. Andy McClelland foi segundo em nos IC's Júnior em Portugal mas ainda há semanas ganhou na Irlanda do Norte o Open 2009 nas duas categorias júnior: IC e HP. Claro... estamos na presença de mais um craque na NOVA GERAÇÃO.

A few months ago Dessie McGlinchey sent me an incredible sequence with an yellow surfkayak literaly flying. Was it Dessie? Jonny? Chris? Corin? No... an incredible junior with only 14 years old at that time. We already have been with Andy in Mundaka and this year, in the Portugal Worlds, he just blast! 2nd in IC class (junior) and a few weeks later, winner in both classes at the Northern Ireland 2009 Open. Time to meet Andy McClelland! One more awesome surfkayaker formed in the great Northern Ireland school. NEW GENERATION!
