2 years ago i had a vision to make a clip and get it on "Fuel" Channel which is a action sports channel on Foxsports. Its something that has never been done in my sport of waveski and something a lot of people said couldn't be done. It was a year ago now that my great mate Mark "Stapo" Stapelfeldt and myself made the plans to make it happen. After a few months of planning we started production in May and it was an incredible journey where i went to many remote, beautiful spots and met many great people. I have been very fortunate to have many friends and professionals help out with the project that i am very thankful of. A Special thanks also needs to be made to the legendary surf film producer Tim Bonython which was a huge honour to have help.

He had a massive involvement with this clip and i cant thank Tim and Stapo enough for there efforts they spent with me and the project. I am very proud of the end result and its very much the vision i had for this clip when it was planted in my head some years ago. I have found realising and living my dreams is very satisfying and cant recommend enough that everyone should live and breath their passions whatever that is and follow their dreams. Thanks for watching and pass onto anyone that may want to sponsor

Foi um dos heats mais disputados do dia ;) Gonçalo Duarte levou a mehor e optou pelo RPF Master. Deu cartas e obteve um dos melhores scores da prova. O Master é baseado no RPF Shark mas contempla uma filosofia mais aproximada das longboards. Fica o vídeo de José Piñeiro, NEWS TEAM kayaksurf.net e Club Kayaksurf Galiza. Muito bom!!

It was one of the best heats of last weekend contest in Figueira da Foz, Portugal. Gonçalo Duarte won this class surfing a RPF Master and it was a comproved right option (yellow bigger kayak). The Master is like the RPF Shark but a little longer with the profile of a longboard sit-on-top. The video was sent by Jose Piñeiro, NEWS TEAM kayaksurf.net and Club Kayaksurf Galiza (Spain). Um Best Off com Lance Milnes / Luxo!



Lance Milnes tem 41 anos em vive em Wollongong, SE da Austrália. Trabalha em áreas que envolvem o sector energético e a contabilidade e, quando não está nas suas funções laborais, pratica desporto. E muito! Não vivesse ele num dos paraísos do desporto mundial. Surfski, waveski, K1 e rugby, fazem dele uma verdadeira máquina de força e performance. É o actual campeão mundial de waveski, classe Masters, e virá este ano a Portugal defender o título no Campeonato do Mundo a realizar-se no Festival Ocean Spirit. Fica o seu mais recente vídeo... muito bom.

Lance Milnes is 41, lives in Wollongong, Australia SE. He does a lot of sports - surfski, waveski, K1 and rugby. We already interviewed him last year because Lance is the World Waveski Champion, Masters class. This year he will be in Portugal to defend the title. Check out his latest video. "Most of the better stuff from the Winter footage all together" - like he says. Coool!

It's Wouter Wynberg, from Singapure, that reports about this video: "Took me a few years to get around to editing this footage, but this was a 6 day session in Oct 2009 with nothing but perfect waves, boat access reef passes with 3 stroke take-offs". Perfect waves... enjoy it!

The irish Len Kelleher, IC kayaksurf world champ 2007, is now living and working in Japan. Of course that he continues to surf!! This time, Len sent us two videos with some kayaksurf in Ginoza and Sunabe. Below, Len describes us these two spots. Enjoy it!

SUNABE


This video is taken at Sunabe seawall. This place is always crowded so I dont go there anymore. But last year I went very often as I wasn't familiar with other less crowded surf spots. This was an evening session after work. It was a long session, maybe 4hours surfing and I remember it well because I was very badly sunburnt the next day.

The first video:
Ginoza Reef. Ginoza reef is about 2km off the coast and is dangerously shallow. Coral reef exposes in some places while im surfing out there. Nobody surfs out there. I think im the first person to have surfed this reef.
