Simpósio de Kayaksurf na Dinamarca com a presença de Simon Hammond



O kayaksurf desponta na Dinamarca com várias iniciativas levadas a cabo pelo DKF (Dinamarca Kayak Surf). Casper Gyndelberg, NEWS TEAM kayaksurf.net, envia-nos o report de mais um fim de semana onde as pagaias e os kayaks foram notícia. Tal como habitualmente, o DKF convida sempre um nome sonante da cena mundial para dar formação. Depois de Pete Belnkinsop, o convite caiu este ano no escocês Simon Hammond - autor do "Surf Kayak - Essential Guide". O evebto reuniu mais de 50 atletas oriundos da Dinamarca e Suécia. Last weekend in September opened the Kayaksurf Denmark up for this year's big Surf Symposium in Cold Hawaii. 50 surfkayakers from Denmark and Sweden were troops up with the x world champion Simon Hammond from United Kingdom. The weekend kicked off Friday evening when people began to check into. In the evening, Simon Hammond held a lecture about the way to become world champion. There sat many, listening and dreaming at the top of the podium at the world championships in kayak surfing. Saturday morning went so loose in the waves in Klitmøller Cold Hawaii where the day was on workshops, and plenty of comfort among the participants.

Hen of the day watching the rescue helicopter dropped by to take aerial images of surfers in the water. Really cool to get some surf pictures from a different angle. Sunday was on the DKF Surf Raid, another kayak surf competition on Danish soil. It was the unofficial Danish championship so surfers from Sweden may well participate. The day went really well and there were many exciting race in today's competition and you could see that the surfers were much better than the competition last year.

First place went to Petter Like Berg, Sweden, second place went to Lars Larsson and third place went to Dane David Tetzschner.

This competition has given the Danes something to train for, it can not be true that the Swedes will come and take almost all podium places in Denmark championships.

KAYAKSURF Symposium in Denmark

Simpósio de Kayaksurf na Dinamarca uma vez mais com o apoio kayaksurf.net



O Surfkayak Symposium decorre de 23 a 25 de Setembro na Dinamarca e conta com a presença de Simon Hammond, autor do livro "Surf Kayaking - The Essential Guide". Simon foi campeão do mundo em HP 2003 e segundo lugar Masters HP em 2007. No ano passado, o convidado foi Pete Blenskinsop. O evento conta uma vez mais com no nosso apoio ;) Mais em baixo, o link para o programa... em dinamarquês.

The Surfkayak Symposium will run from 23rd till 25th September in Denmark and, this year, the invited is Simom Hammond. We already interviewed Simon because he's the HP World 2003 Champion and, in 2007, was second in Masters HP (Basque Country). Last year, the invited surfkayaker was Pete Blenkinsop. All the best for the event that also counts with kayaksurf.net support!

Decorreu no passado fim de semana na costa ocidental dinamarquesa de Cold Hawaii o primeiro Surf Symposium que incluiu uma notável presença do kayaksurf. Casper Gyldenberg, NEWS TEAM kayaksurf.net, esteve particularmente activo na organização do evento. O kayaksurf na Dinamarca desponta a toda a força - apesar dos condicionalismos climáticos - e o kayaksurf.net orgulha-se de apoiar toda esta iniciatiava. Casper já criou no Facebook o Kayaksurf Dinamarca e as novidades passarão igualmente por ali ;)

It was hel last weekend in the western danish coast of Cold Hawaii the 1st Surf Symposium. Casper Gyldenberg, NEWS TEAM kayaksurf.net, was also in the organization of the event and sent us this report. After the workshops, there was a kayaksurf contest with IC and HP classes. Kayaksurf Denmark is also on Facebook where you can also follow their activities. Congratulation for all ;)

Watertech conquista os suecos com a aterra.se

É sempre com prazer que noticiamos marcas nacionais a vingarem no exterior. A Watertech tem ganho terreno em países como Israel, Itália, Espanha, França, Irlanda, entre outros, e agora... Suécia e Dinamarca. Os suecos adoram os novos modelos e não se coibiram de representar a marca de surfkayaks made in Portugal na fria escandinávia. Em cima, um pequeno mosaico com imagens de uma visita que fizeram ao nosso país em finais do mês passado.

Swedens Watertech's dealer Aterra.se is very active in making surfkayak courses in Sweden and Denmark... and off course in Portugal. This time they had four new kayaksurfers. On the first day the weather was like the Swedish autumn and they got a tough start. But the second day and rest of the week the sun was shining for the new surfers who was getting their first nice surfs. You can see the happy faces on the photos just when they got their first surfs. The older guy was 65 years old Knud Rasmussen who have kayak experience but not with surf kayaks. The other newborn surfers was Leena Teresia and Panu.
