Kayaksurf Sueco nas ondas de Peniche



Já é habitual de há uns anos para cá que Leif venha a Portugal surfar com alguns conterrâneos seus. De facto, com este sol em Outubro, qualquer sueco fica perdido pelo nosso país. Nas duas passadas semanas, a Capital da Onda, foi igualmente visitada por kayaksurfistas oriundos da Dinamarca e Bulgária. Tivemos oportunidade de partilhar ondas nos habituais spots de Peniche e, com este tempinho, até parecia Agosto! Fica o report que Leif, NEWS TEAM kayaksurf.net, nos envia agora directo da Suécia. A viagem contou, como habitualmente, com o apoio da Watertech.

Great days of sun, surf and paddles in the water ;) That was like that in the past two weeks in Peniche, Portugal. Surfkayakers from Sweden, Denmark and Bulgary came till Portugal to surf in our "Wave Capital". Now, Leif Davidsson, NEWS TEAM kayaksurf.net, sent us the report from those days. Next year, like usual, let's meet again in Peniche! This trip had, like usual, Watertech support.

Peniche surf kayak course with Aterra and Watertech

Home again after a week in Peniche, this was our fourth surf kayak course down here. And the participants learn how to surf in perfect conditions on waves from one to two meters. Our course is a five day course, often Monday-Friday. May 2012 we come back to Peniche and hope to see you there in a surf kayak course or if you are there surfing I hope to meet you in the waves.

Peniche, cantinho da baía, final de tarde, e um surfkayak nas ondas. Nada de anormal. Mas... ao observarmos com maior atenção, depressa surgiu a questão... mas que kayak é aquele? Na água, Bruno Melo, shaper e rider da W, testava o novo brinquedo. Ricardo Ribeiro, munido da sua potente objectiva, saca as primeiras fotos. Primeiro, contactámos a Watertech na esperança que nos oferecessem um kayak só para não publicarmos as fotos... rotundo fracasso ;)

Rui Calado prontamente autorizou a publicação mas... de longe!!! E aqui fica a máquina. Claro que já a vimos de perto e Bruno Melo ainda anda a afinar alguns detalhes. Só dizemos mais uma coisa... é lindo!!!! Vamos esperar pelas NEWS ;)

Peniche, Portugal, two days ago, and a brand new surfkayak in the waves. The surfkayaker... Bruno Melo, shaper and rider of Watertech. Bruno was simply testing the prototype of the next surfkayak made by the portuguese brand. Ricardo Ribeiro took only these three photos that were authorized by Rui Calado for publishing. The new surfkayak seems to be really innovator. Let's wait for the next NEWS from Watertech ;) For now, congratulations! Great look!

Quarta feira, três da tarde e com Super Tubos e Molhe Leste a darem ondas de luxo em Peniche. Na comunidade das pagaias, três atletas dentro de água: Miguel Carvalho, Ricardo Ribeiro e um rider francês. Na escassa meia hora em que lá estivemos, sacámos estas fotos (slide-show mais em baixo). As melhores... não estão aqui. Na retina, fica um aéreo sublime que o Migas sacou mas que não captámos a tempo (e só tem o waveski há pouco mais de um mês...). Parabéns aos dois craques que fazem parte do Figueira Kayak Clube ;)

Alunos da ESDRM treinam kayaksurf e outros desportos de ondas em Peniche

Foi sob a orientação de Henrique Frazão, docente na Escola Superior de Desporto de Rio Maior (ESDRM) e habitual colaborador do kayaksurf.net, que um grupo de alunos da licenciatura em Educação Física treinou algumas modalidades de ondas em Peniche.

Tudo decorreu na passada quarta feira e o kayaksurf constou da lista de "trabalhos". Recorde-se que o kayaksurf.net já colaborou com ESDRM nas Jornadas de Desporto de Natureza e Turismo Activo nos conteúdos relativos ao kayaksurf. O trabalho que esta escola tem desenvolvido tem merecido rasgados elogios pela variedade de modalidades que abrange nas suas formações. Ficam as imagens de uma tarde muito ventosa mas com muita vontade de aprender ;)

Henrique Frazão, usual kayaksurf.net collaborator, is a teacher in the Sport Sciences School of Rio Maior, Portugal. Among the several activities that all the sports students have to do, kayaksurf is also in their objectivs. These photos show us some students to practice kayaksurf in Peniche. Hard conditions - too much cold and wind - but a great will to learn. It's always great to see our sport in Sports Schools!

O sueco já conhecia o nosso país graças à colaboração que mantém com a Watertech e queria agora conhecer melhor o palco do mundial de surf. Estiveram por cá no final mês passado e adoraram. Lei Davidsson is our newest NEWS TEAM member. He was in Portugal last month for a surf trip till Peniche. Leif and the swedish team already knew our country but, this time, the objectiv was to know better the stage of the surf World Championship Tour. Great waves, sun an good food. Babarit de novo em Portugal para estágio em 2011 / Todas as informações na Octupus School



Este ano fizemos o REPORT de mais uma vinda do craque mundial do waveski até Peniche com a sua escola e para 2011 há mais! Mathieu Babarit e a Octopus School estão a calendarizar para 2011 mais uma vinda até Portugal mas, desta vez, até Santa Cruz. Objectivo: treinar nas ondas onde vai decorrer o mundial 2011 de Waveski - Santa Cruz Ocean Spirit. Fica a sugestão enviada pelo craque e, para mais informações, basta clicar no CARTAZ!

We made this year the full REPORT of one more trip of Mathieu Babarit and the Octupus School till Peniche. Next year, Matt will be in Portugal again with all his crue for one more stage training. PORTUGUESE YOUNGEST WAVESKI RIDERS

OS MAIS JOVENS RIDERS DE WAVESKI NACIONAIS

O Diogo e o Gil têm 10 anos de idade e fazem-se às ondas como poucos. Infelizmente! Era bom que tivéssemos mais jovens desta idade a iniciarem-se no kayaksurf e waveski. Os gémeos são filhos do Bruno Melo e da Marta Rebelo - nomes bem conhecidos da equipa Ocean Spirit - e têm a quem sair pela mania das ondas! Estas fotos foram tiradas em Peniche em mais uma manhã de ondas perfeitas na companhia da Watertech Team, pois claro ;)

Diogo and Gil have 10 years old and surf like few. Unfortunately! That would be very good to have more young people like these two surfing their surfkayaks and waveskis. These twin brothers are sons of Bruno Melo and Marta Rebelo - well known names of the Ocean Spirit Team. Of course that they grew always with waves near by! These photos were took in Peniche, Portugal, in a beautiful morning of great waves in the company of Watertech Team, of course ;) Enjoy it!

W TEAM EM PENICHE

Peniche tem sido o destino de várias surfadas por parte da Watertech. Waves e surfkayaks nas ondas da meca do surf com a presença de vários elementos da W-Team. Nestas fotos - que reúnem duas surfadas no Molhe Leste -, a estreia de mais alguns waves com Bruno Melo, Francisco Saraiva, Pedro Castro, Rui Calado, Luís Vieira, Andé Pinto, Miguel Carvalho e os craques Diogo e Gil de apenas 10 anos de idade e já a ripar nas ondas!
